Instructions[]

  • Touch regions of same-color tiles to select them - tap again to clear them. You earn more points the more blocks you clear.
  • The white blocks are called "mixers" and will scramble the blocks around it when used. Tap a mixer twice to activate it.
  • A level ends when you have no more moves (no mixers or matches remain). If you've reached the target score, you go to the next level - otherwise, it's game over.

Notes[]

This version should have graphics and game mechanics very close to the Yahoo version.

For comparison, here is a "current" online version used as a reference for some mechanics: http://www.kobash.com/portfolio/games/jt/jtsblocks.html

Graphically, the PTC version is a smaller resolution, so the tiles are scaled accordingly and some information is split across screens. Additionally, I did not implement the How to Play or Level Complete screens.

There are some gameplay differences between the current online version and the older Yahoo one, most notably the starting target score which is higher in the online one. I believe the Yahoo version also didn't always give you 5 mixers like this one does. If there are further differences, I am not aware of them. My best score during development was about 45000. Can you beat it?
