Seeing as how barely any of the admins on here are active (and the fact that I still use PTC and will still use it after I get SmileBasic), I'm requesting to become an admin (or at least a moderator.).
What's on your mind?

Adminship
Hello, I am TwinArmageddonz and I have been a member of the Petit Computer Wiki since August 3, 2013. I believe that I would make a great admin on the SmileBASIC Wiki because I am a very experienced in Wikia usering. I know I have applied for a position of admin in the past and was ignored, but it has been a fair amount of time since then so I thought it would be suitable to request again.
Thank you for your time.
Just Updated
Hello, I would like to request to be an admin. My reasons to become an admin are:
- I am on the wiki everyday
- I have about 2 years of experience with Petit Computer so I will be able to help people with their programs
- I judge people fairly (like if someone is causing trouble in the wiki, I could give them a fair punishment, like a temporary ban or something)
Thank you for your time, if you accept my request then please send me an email or post a message on my wall. Thank you.
Tonight we've been talking a lot about adminship, and now that I think of it, we really don't need any more admins. We need Moderators. I mean, we never had any official, active Mod in here.
Of course, my job will be to take care of the chat's usual problems (e.g. people spamming, people complaining, etc.) I do not want to be involved in admin jobs (e.g. wiki editing/cleaning, the bot's admin commands, etc.) I will only work as a Moderator on our wikia's chat and nowhere else. As there are no official Moderator registration rules as of now: I understand the wiki rules and I read carefully the threads "11337" and "11339" (in other words, I understand and have most of what we need to be admin.) I will also take notes on the community's behavior on certain things to help on the bot's programmation. I am on the chat approximatively 5 hours a day. I understand the inferiority Moderators have compared to Admins and will always listen to any Admin whenever they give orders.

i would like to become a admin
i think i would make a great admin3

pls considre to make me admin thank by;e
I have read the Admin rules and I can be an admin.
I like to help people out. I don't like mean comments or vandalism to other peoples pages.
I won't be on 24/7 but i will be on often.
(I cannot speak japanese.)
I am applying for promotion to the level of Wikia administrator. Due to the recent conflict on this Wikia, it is my belief that another admin is needed due to the fact that we're down one, and a few people have asked me to. I won't abuse the responsibility that comes with being an admin, and if I do my status can be immediately removed.
◾ "Understand the Wiki Rules" I have read them, understood them, and shown understanding.
◾ "Understand Wikia's Administration, in particular that part about "What can administrators NOT do"" I read the page, and I will follow it if I am promoted.
◾ "Understand the wiki in general, such as the categories, layout, and wiki syntax" I have come to understand this through copious amounts of editing.
◾ "Are able to work and make decisions in a team" Check.
◾ "Are able to cope with stressful situations" I go through a lot of these, and always come out fine.
◾ "Are willing to have a firm hand in tough situations, but at the same time show understanding and consideration in minor ones." I understand and will follow this criteria.
◾ "Are able to spell and use correct grammar when necessary" Check.
◾ "Are able to keep an eye on the wiki once in a while (it doesn't necessarily have to be every day)" I'm on everyday.
◾ "Have had at least a month since their first edit" Check. I've been on here since late February.
◾ "Have contributed something to the wiki (the community will decide)" Other than my edits, I have contributed a lackluster RPG.
◾ "Have community approval (people generally want you to be an admin)" We'll see.
◾ "Are over the age of 13" Check.
◾ "Display an acceptable amount of maturity" Well, I'm not the judge of this, but I believe I display an acceptable amount when necessary.
◾ "Actually want to be an admin" Of course.
I am requesting that BrianXP7 be demoted. He refuses to listen to anyone in the community, stubborn, abuses his powers in the chat too often (I was kicked/banned multiple times for no reason at all). He can'r be mature.
I want a simple yes or no and why, anything without this criteria will be deleted. let's handle this like civilized people.
I'll go through the entire process again, if you want me to, but I think I should be admin again. I know it won't cover everything, but chat is pretty much unmoderated and I can, if not fix, help reduce that. I have thorough understanding of the administrator rules and guidelines and believe I have evolved enough to carry out the duties better. If I become admin, I will attempt to pass a few guidelines for bans and blocks so that no more "unfair bans" happen, and hopefully, cut down on the number of complaints.
We shall persevere through the Spring together, comrades. I am confident that I can be unbiased in decisions and not attempt to climb the ladder of corruption. So please, give me your vote of confidence, and allow me to work towards what you want, as well as what is best for the wiki.
I apologize for any errors within this document. I have an excuse, but I know no one wants to hear it.
Well, alot has happened the past month. I am requesting that BrianXP7 be demoted because he is not fit to be an admin. He makes bad decisions, and tries to enforce them.
Here is a list of things he does all the time.
- Threatens to take down chat forums without other admin/community approval (against our rules)
- Lies and keeps things away from other admins and community members.
- Blocks users for more than 2 hours without admin consent. (Against our rules) recently blocked me infinitely for trying to get him to change his behavior))
- Is very rude to the community
- Very stubborn. Does not listen to anyone including admins or community members.
- Is just an overall jerk.
Examples:
- tried replacing the chat with an IRC without any approval
- threatened to take away chat and forums without approval
- Lies to community members and admins and keeps things from us
- re-created the homepage a while ago without any approval
- recently told me to go die
- threatened to ban everyone in chat for not agreeing to the IRC client.
Now think about it, do you really want someone like this running our wiki?
Hello there. I see many conflicts here on the wiki and some troll posts, even if it's on chat or on the users pages (Why am I talking about things everyone knows *sigh*). Well, I don't know if people were listening to me, but I'm requesting the admin power. I will accept it if you don't accept and if you do, I will make the duty Random posted as best as I could. Now, here is the list of requirements with infos about me:
- Understand the Wiki Rules: Yes, I am not dumb.
- Understand Wikia's Administration, in particular that part about "What can administrators NOT do": Sure.
- Understand the wiki in general, such as the categories, layout, and wiki syntax: Yep.
- Are able to work and make decisions in a team: I don't like working in teams but I can.
- Are able to cope with stressful situations: I am emotionless (I just don't stress)
- Are willing to have a firm hand in tough situations, but at the same time show understanding and consideration in minor ones.: I think I do, yes.
- Are able to spell and use correct grammar when necessary: Almost perfect English, I would say yes. I'm not using caps.
- Are able to keep an eye on the wiki once in a while (it doesn't necessarily have to be every day): Yes, everyday.
- Have had at least a month since their first edit: I came in August 2013, so yes.
- Have contributed something to the wiki (the community will decide): If SMB3 isn't enough...
- Have community approval (people generally want you to be an admin): Waiting for comments.
- Are over the age of 13: I'm 14.
- Display an acceptable amount of maturity: Yes I do (Let's say... since 2014).
- Actually want to be an admin: Guess what.
Oh, and if you don't want me to be an admin like Persson, Kirby, etc, I can work as a cleaner, not taking decisions.
Hey, I was involved in alot of crap that impacted the wiki and overreacted, then revoked my own powers. I am just politely requesting that we put all of this "Wiki disaster" stuff behind us, and if I could have my adminship back.
If it is a no then I completely understand. Thanks.
Ok so it appears most people want to jusy keep the font as Arial, so I'll just leave it as that. So what about color schemes? I think white is fine for the main page color, as for all the other colors, what do you guys think?
I believe that I am ready, if the community approves, to become an admin and carry out the duties that accompany this task. I have made many positive contributions to this community and make meaningful comments and suggestions. I do not have access to a computer at all times, but most weekdays and some weekends. If the community does not approve of my becoming an admin, I will respect their opinion. I meet the age and time on the wiki requirements, and generally display a level of maturity. I would like to take this higher position and its benefits, but also its responsibilities (and the burden of carrying around a mop. And a grammar gun.).
Hey guys, I have a request to make tjat I actually hate to ask. Topic:Adminship. The reasons are I have gotten multiple comments on whether I should be an administrator or not. Asked or not I have heard some people saying that I should be an admin. I will not post names. I have also gotten some hate comments on the topic. Some people think that there are too many admins and I totally agree. If that is the case from which i am denied then it is completely understandable. I have read and qualified for all of the rules. i have posted multiple pages that have gotten a fair amount of positive feedback. If you think that I should be an administrator comment why please or if you think that I wouldn't be a good one Please comment why and I will try to improve if possible. Feedback is so much appreciated. Thanks!
Hey! This thread is for the Admins on this wiki. Recently, BrianXP7 gave the suggestion that each of us Admins should be assigned to one specific thing, improving productivity. I really like Kirby's idea of rotation; each week we should rotate duties so we don't get bored of what we're doing. What do you guys want to do? I typically moderate the chat, clean up/improve pages, and do general maintenance. What do you guys like to do? I'm not the best at moderating the chat except on Saturdays; my schedule is fairly busy on any other day. In this thread, we can also post stuff that needs to be done. For example, I've set up the home page so that the gallery gets changed out each week, determined by the poll on the right. It is not automatic, so someone needs to manually do it each Sunday.
I've been admin on a couple sites and did a good job. I work well on keeping wikis clean of vandalism and trolling mostly. Please consider me! If you need the list of sites I'm and admin on just ask!
