Im suggesting building a sample based tracker tool (similar to Nitro Tracker on DS homebrew) but I am not that familiar with basic so I dont know if its possible.. anyone..?
If anybody know any other music "apps" on Petit, pls let me know!

Are you looking for something like Petitcom_Music_Workstation? Based on images of Nitro Tracker it looks like it shares some features, not sure it's exactly the same though.
Edit: apparently you already found that, but that's the best one I know for PTC.

Yeah, looking for something more tho.. like the option to record samples using the DS mic, and saving to XM format. But 'workstation' is awesome for what it does!
Guess theres not much demand for this...

Unfortunately, there's no microphone access for Petit, so it's not an option anyways.
There might be a way to save to XM, but it'd require writing a converter program likely on PC to convert the saved .PTC files to it.

Oh I thought Petit had access to all the DSi functions.. hmm thats kind of a let down..! But meh!
And the converter is a good idea tho! Gonna look around and see if its made already, never know! I usually just resample any music I make on other devices into my daw as wav anyway.. But its fun to be able to play raw stuff on pc.
