I was on live chat once with a few of the guys...and gal...and they suggested a contest where you create a game within a day. I could make that official but probably sometime later because of this new idea. I want to create a new contest known as the Petit Interactive Art Contest.
Objective
Write a game with a design emphasis on visuals and audio (resembling Nintendo's bit Generations, Art Style, and Electroplankton series) within 30 days. Along the lines of "elegant design, polished graphics, and pick-up-and-play controls" that create "an experience focused purely on fun and engaging game play." (According to Nintendo.)
Rules
- Only 1-3 person per entry.
- You may enter multiple entries.
- Games made prior to this submission date may not enter.
- You may use your original graphics and music. Do not use the preloaded stock resources from Petit Computer. You may use existing resources on the internet as long as you give proper credit.
Tips
- Recommended genres are arcade, puzzle, and strategy.
- Your definition of "art" can mean anything. Do something unique!
- Add emphasis to visuals and sound such as integrating them into gameplay.
- Use a blend of complimenting colours for graphics.

Submission
After the end of the time period, the community will vote for the game they like. The game with the most votes wins 1st place.
